Wizz Air is a Hungary‑based ULCC, founded in 2003 and headquartered in Budapest. The airline, which carried more than 63 million passengers in 2024-25, serves about 950 routes to destinations across Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, and Central Asia.

The carrier predominantly uses secondary airports and is continuously looking at opportunities to expand its network of destinations and provide low-cost air transport to and from Central and Eastern Europe.
