U.S. Aviation Fuel Survey Shows Jet-A Price Fall

The price of a gallon of Jet-A fuel in the U.S. averaged $6.61 in August 2025, down 2 cents from the previous month and down 11 cents from a year ago, according to a fuel survey of more than 200 FBOs conducted by the Aviation Research Group.
The largest monthly increase was found in the Western Pacific region where fuel rose 13 cents per gallon compared to July figures, while the largest decrease was in the Southwest region, down 13 cents from the previous month. The most expensive region was the Western Pacific region at $7.30 per gallon, while the least expensive region was the Central region at $5.93 per gallon.
