Dubai-based cargo startup SolitAir has introduced a new scheduled service to Kuwait as it works to grow its Middle East network.

Flights between Dubai World Central (DWC) and Kuwait International Airport (KWI) will be performed using Boeing 737-800BCFs. SolitAir operates five of the converted narrowbody airliners and has plans to add up to five more 737-800BCFs by the end of 2025 as it aims to have a fleet of 20 freighters by 2027.

“The launch of our scheduled service to Kuwait comes at a pivotal time, as the ambitious Air Cargo City project at Kuwait International Airport receives the green light to move forward,” SolitAir Founder and CEO Hamdi Osman says. “This initiative is poised to establish Kuwait as a leading logistics hub in the Middle East and North Africa.”

To support the expansion, SolitAir has appointed Al Hayat International Air Shipping Co as its general sales agent in Kuwait.

SolitAir inaugurated its first scheduled service between DWC and Riyadh’s King Khalid International Airport on Dec. 4, 2024, addressing the growing demand for logistics solutions between the two hubs.
SolitAir, which is 100% owned by founder Osman, offers logistics solutions across the Middle East, including Iraq and Turkey, and to Africa, the Indian subcontinent and Central Asia.
