Celebrating excellence in aviation and aerospace, the renowned Aviation Week Network's 68th Laureate Awards invite nominations for 2026. Established in 1957, these iconic awards spotlight pioneers whose achievements reflect the innovation, leadership and transformative impact that drive the global aerospace industry forward. Honorees represent the spirit of progress and exploration, inspiring the next generation to push boundaries and redefine possibilities in aviation.

Categories and Lifetime Achievement

The 2026 Laureates will be honored across multiple categories, including:

  • Business Aviation
  • Commercial Aviation
  • Defense
  • MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul)
  • Space

In addition, the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Awards will recognize individuals whose extraordinary contributions have left a lasting legacy in the aviation and aerospace sectors.

“Each year, Aviation Week’s editors sift through dozens of nominations to select great achievements and achievers that are making a great impact on our industry,” said Aviation Week Editorial Director Joe Anselmo.

Award Ceremony Details

The 68th Laureate Awards ceremony will be held on March 19, 2026, at the iconic National Building Museum in Washington, D.C. This distinguished event will honor excellence, celebrating the extraordinary accomplishments of this year’s awardees.

Nomination Deadline

Nominations for the 68th Laureate Awards are officially open, inviting industry professionals to submit entries by the deadline of October 16, 2025. This is your chance to celebrate and honor the outstanding individuals and organizations driving innovation and excellence in aviation. Submissions are free of charge.

The winners will be announced in November 2025.
