Elliot Aviation, Prizm Aircraft Lighting Launch Starlight Cabin Headliner

Elliot Aviation, in partnership with Prizm Aircraft Lighting, unveiled the Starlight Cabin Headliner—a full-spectrum cabin lighting system. According to Elliot Aviation, the system allows aircraft owners to project stars and fully programmable constellations onto the headliner. The first installation was completed by Elliot Aviation on a Challenger 300 at the company’s headquarters in Moline, Ill. Owners can also control the system’s brightness, motion and ambiance throughout the cabin.

Falcon Field Airport Reports Business Aviation Growth

Falcon Field Airport, located in Mesa, Arizona, is reporting a “major era of growth” in business and corporate aviation developments. According to the airport, several construction projects are in progress, including the Falcon 12 Aviation Center, a complex of 14 high-end executive hangars. Additionally, Mesa Hangars is in its third phase of construction as part of its expansion project, which will add five 9,000 ft.² hangars.

Greenpoint Technologies Delivers V-VIP BBJ 787 Interior Completion

Greenpoint Technologies announced the delivery of its sixth V-VIP BBJ 787 interior completion to an undisclosed client. According to the company, Greenpoint managed the completion, covering design development through redelivery. The completion included custom-coved ceilings, enhanced acoustics and inflight entertainment and communication systems. The completion also included Greenpoint’s first installation of its AeroSuite on a BBJ 787—a fully-enclosed private suite.

Gogo Galileo HDX Now Available On Citation CJ4 Gen3 Aircraft

Textron Aviation is now offering an option to include Gogo’s Galileo HDX connectivity solution on Cessna Citation CJ4 Gen3 aircraft. The system provides global low-earth orbit (LEO) satellite connectivity through a fuselage-mounted HDX antenna. The solution was originally announced in October 2024 as an option for customers who will be receiving deliveries of new Citation Longitude, Citation Latitude and Citation Ascend aircraft.

Hunnu Air To Receive First Cessna SkyCourier In Mongolia

Textron Aviation has secured the first order of its SkyCourier aircraft in Mongolia. The aircraft, ordered by Hunnu Air, will be used for domestic tourism and cargo operations within the country. The order includes two passenger variants of the aircraft and one Grand Caravan EX, with deliveries expected to begin in 2026. Recently, Textron also made its first Canadian delivery of the SkyCourier to Air Bravo Corporation.

Diamond Aircraft Delivers Fifth DA62 MPP To 2Excel Aviation

Diamond Aircraft has delivered the fifth DA62 Multi-Purpose Platform (MPP) aircraft to 2Excel Aviation, making it the world’s largest fleet operator of the aircraft, according to the company. 2Excel Aviation uses the variant for special mission operations such as maritime surveillance, environmental monitoring and Intelligence and Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) roles. The DA62 MPP is powered by Jet-A1 piston engines and comes equipped with mission management systems, while offering low operation costs, according to Diamond.

Jetcraft Commercial Delivers Two CRJ 1000s To Air Nostrum

Jetcraft Commercial announced the delivery of two Bombardier CRJ 1000 aircraft to Air Nostrum, a regional carrier in Spain. According to Jetcraft, the aircraft will serve over 50 destinations within Air Nostrum’s network, operating under the Iberia Regional Air Nostrum brand. Jetcraft Commercial has now relocated 14 aircraft originally operated by HOP!, the regional division of Air France. The aircraft was selected by Air Nostrum for its performance and economics on short-haul routes.

Hartzell’s Polaris Propeller Gains EASA Certification For Diamond DA40 NG Aircraft

Hartzell Propeller has been granted EASA approval for its Polaris propeller on Diamond DA40 NG aircraft. The three-blade carbon fiber propeller offers improved climb rates, increased cruise speed and quieter operation, according to the company. The new propellers are now available as a factory-installed option for new Diamond DA40 NG models. Hartzell says the 74-in. diameter Polaris propeller was specifically designed for the Austro Engine E4-A and sports a Bantam aluminum hub.

Aerocardal Joins Embraer Authorized Service Network

Aerocardal, an aviation company based at Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport in Chile, has been added to Embraer’s service network for business jets. According to Embraer, Aerocardal will provide line maintenance services, including unscheduled maintenance, AOG support and drop-ins for local and external customers. The company has operated within the executive aviation market since 1991, according to Embraer.

Elliot Aviation Completes Fifth Installation Of G600TXi On Citation CJ Series Aircraft

Elliot Aviation completed its fifth installation of Garmin’s G600 TXi flight display system with GFC 600 digital autopilot on a Citation CJ series aircraft. According to Elliot Aviation, the company has delivered over 90 Garmin G5000 systems on Citation 650XL series and Beechjet/Hawker 400XP aircraft and over 425 G1000/G1000 NXi installation on King Air aircraft. The company says it can complete the G600 TXi and GFC 600 installation on a Citation CJ aircraft in 25 working days.

Textron Aviation Offers Garmin Avionics Upgrade For Citation CJ1

Textron Aviation is now offering an all-Garmin retrofit solution for the Cessna Citation CJ1 after receiving an FAA supplemental type certification (STC). The upgrade includes a 12-in. G600 TXi flight display, TXi EIS, GTN 750Xi GPS/NAV/COMM and GFC 600 digital autopilot. As an additional option, customers can also include Garmin’s GWX 8000 StormOptix weather radar and GDL 60 datalink for the PlaneSync connected aircraft management system. Textron offers installation of the upgrade at its Textron Aviation service centers.

Flyvbird, Fl Yellow Partner On Regional Air Mobility

Flyvbird, a German aviation startup, has partnered with German air operator Fl Yellow to launch on-demand flight services from Germany. According to the two companies, operations are scheduled to begin in September, beginning with flights using Cessna Grand Caravan aircraft. The partnership will see routes connecting regional airports such as Friedrichshafen, Mönchengladbach, Münster/Osnabrück, Hamburg, Frankfurt, Hof-Plauen Airport and Berlin Strausberg, according to Flyvbird CEO Tomislav Lang.

Tecnam Flight Academy Adds P-Mentor To Training Fleet

Tecnam Flight Academy announced the addition of a new P-Mentor aircraft to its training fleet. According to the academy, its training fleet now includes two P2008 JC, one P2006T, one P2010 TDI, and one P-Mentor aircraft. The P-Mentor is a two-seat single-engine piston aircraft, which the academy will use for PPL and CPL-IR training. Tecnam Flight Academy boasts the new aircraft as “ideal for IFR training,” thanks to it being fully IFR-compliant and certified under CS-23 EASA and FAA standards.

Air Doc Services is celebrating its third anniversary with the conclusion of its 75th pre-purchase inspection (PPI). The company, based in Switzerland, was founded in 2022 by Mary Preud’homme and Rogerio Machado. Air Doc Services provides PPIs, registration change support, airworthiness certificate review, audits, MRO technical oversight and more for business aviation customers.

Menzies Aviation To Expand MASIL Operations In Iraq

Menzies Aviation announced plans to deliver ground, air cargo and fueling services at Mosul International Airport (OSM) in Iraq through its joint venture, MASIL, with Iraqi Airways, Air BP and Al-Burhan Group. Upon completion, MASIL will provide aviation services under a 10-year license. According to Menzies, OSM has undergone “extensive reconstruction” and now features a main terminal, VIP lounge and advanced radar surveillance system. The company expects the airport to be fully operational in the coming months, with the capacity to handle 630,000 passengers annually.

Citation Longitude Receives First Order In Brazil

Textron announced the first order of its Cessna Citation Longitude aircraft in Brazil during the Latin American Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition (LABACE). The aircraft is expected to be delivered in 2026, joining the region’s nearly 1,000 Citation business jets and over 2,100 Cessna and Beechcraft turboprops, Textron says. According to the company, the aircraft was ordered by a “longtime Citation customer” that operates several Textron aircraft.

Elliott Aviation Installing Starlink On G450 And Challenger 300

Elliot Aviation announced plans to install Starlink inflight connectivity on a Gulfstream G450 and a Bombardier Challenger 300. The G450 installation is taking place at its facility at Peachtree-Dekalb Airport (PDK) in Atlanta, Georgia. The Challenger 300 installation is taking place at the company’s headquarters in Moline, Illinois. This marks the company’s seventh and eighth Starlink installations, following work on a Challenger 604, King Air 350 and Citation 560XL aircraft, according to the company.

StormOptix Radar Certified On Epic Aircraft E1000 Series

Garmin’s GWX 8000 StormOptix weather radar has received FAA certification for installation on Epic Aircraft’s E1000, E1000 GX and E1000 AX models. According to Epic Aircraft CEO Doug King, the new radar is available as an optional upgrade, with installations for E1000 and E1000 GX aircraft available at authorized service centers. Garmin’s StormOptix radar is a doppler-enabled system enabled by a 10-in. antenna within a laminar flow radome.

Million Air Hollywood-Burbank Rebrands As Hollywood Burbank Jet Center

After 22 years of operations, Million Air has rebranded as Hollywood Burbank Jet Center. The independently owned FBO is located at Hollywood Burbank Airport (KBUR), within a 30-min. drive to downtown Los Angeles, Hollywood and Beverley Hills, according to the FBO. The facility features full concierge services, a pilot lounge, on-site rental cars, shuttle services and catering. Hollywood Burbank Jet Center will continue to operate as an Avfuel-branded FBO and offers sustainable aviation fuel (SAF).

Luxaviation UK Adds Second Praetor 600 To Fleet

Luxaviation UK added its second Embraer Praetor 600 to its UK fleet. The aircraft, based in London and operated by Luxaviation San Marino, sports a range of 4,000 nm with a top speed of 466 kts. According to Luxaviation UK CEO George Galanopoulos, the Praetor 600 is better suited to serve the company’s Millennial customer base, which accounts for half of its business jet clientele. Luxaviation UK will showcase the Praetor 600 at the Air Charter Expo (ACE) in September 2025.

NetJets Implements FlightPulse Application

NetJets has adopted GE Aerospace’s FlightPulse application for pilot use. According to NetJets, the app functions as a fully configurable Electronic Flight Bag (EFB). The app also provides pre- and post-flight modules that offer safety and sustainability data to help improve pilot performance. As part of the adoption, NetJets will also participate in GE Aerospace’s Flight Operations Quality Assurance (FOQA) program, which processes app data from an average of 2.5 million flights per day. NetJets is the first shared ownership provider to establish a FOQA program, according to the company.

Tamarack Aerospace Adds Davinci Jets To Dealer Network

Tamarack Aerospace has added Davinci Jets to its roster of authorized service centers. According to Tamarack, the partnership allows CitationJet operators to access the company’s active winglet technology, with installations performed by certified technicians at Davinci’s facility in Charlotte, North Carolina. According to Trey Darr, vice president of Davinci Jet Services, Davinci Jet Services is now equipped to provide installations alongside other inspection and maintenance services.

Thrust Flight Adds A&P Mechanic and Dispatcher Courses

Thrust Flight, an aviation training company, has launched a new Aircraft & Powerplant (A&P) mechanic school in Conroe, Texas, as well as a new FAA-approved aircraft dispatcher program at its Addison and Denison campuses in North Texas. The Thrust Institute of Maintenance, the new A&P mechanic school, accepted its first class of students on July 16, 2025, for a 12-month FAA Part 147 program. The company’s Part 65 aircraft dispatcher certification program is a five-week course and will accept its first public cohort in January 2026 at Thrust Flight’s Addison and Denison campuses, with more locations to follow.
