FlyLili Selects Electronic Technical Logbook Provider

Romanian airline FlyLili has selected Conduce’s eTechLog8 electronic technical logbook to digitally capture flight, defect and servicing data from its fleet. FlyLili expects to complete the rollout of eTechLog8 soon.

Kuehne+Nagel Expands Airbus Logistics Partnership

Kuehne+Nagel has renewed and expanded its agreement with Airbus for the logistics of production and storage sites across Spain. The agreement—which covers in-plant logistics, inter-site transport services, warehouse-to-line deliveries, supply fulfillment center operations and spare parts management at 16 sites across Spain—now expands into helicopter MRO.

JetBlue Expands Trax Implementation

JetBlue has expanded its use of Trax software by adopting its cloud hosting solution and signing up for its eMobility Planning Control app to streamline maintenance planning and scheduling.

Air Transat Taps Magnetic Line For Berlin Support

Canadian carrier Air Transat has signed a two-year maintenance agreement with Magnetic Line for its twice-weekly Airbus A321LR operations at Berlin Brandenburg Airport, which includes full handling, transit checks and extended-range twin-engine operations performance standards walk-arounds. Magnetic Line says support for the A330 will be added if the aircraft type changes.

ACIA Aero Leasing Signs GE MRO Agreement

ACIA Aero Leasing has signed a TrueChoice agreement with GE Aerospace covering MRO of its CF34-10E engines. ACIA says the deal will help it expand and grow its Embraer E1 portfolio.

Aviation Search Group Joins Launch Brand

Recruiting specialist Aviation Search Group has been acquired by Launch Technical Workforce Solutions. It will continue to operate as a separate business, and Launch says it plans to offer additional executive search services to its clients through the new subsidiary.

Jordan Airmotive Adds Further CFM56 Capability

Jordan Airmotive has gained approval from CFM International to become a vendor to carry out enhanced immersion ultrasonic inspection on a wide range of life-limited parts (LLPs) for the CFM56 engine family. The LLPs include high pressure turbine disks for the narrowbody engine type.

StandardAero Adds CFM56-7B Engine Exchanges

StandardAero has added new CFM International CFM56-7B engine exchanges to its services portfolio. StandardAero says it recently completed a CFM56-7B engine exchange for Stellar Aviation Solutions, helping the Indian aviation specialist quickly return a Boeing 737-800 to service.

Embraer ERJ-190 AD

Operators of Embraer ERJ-190-300 and -400 models registered in Brazil and the European Union will need to comply with revised maintenance thresholds or inspection programs for certain structural components and fuel systems on July 25.Brazil’s aviation regulator ANAC cites new airworthiness limitations for these systems based on a new Maintenance Review Board Report (MRBR-5881 Revision 6). The European Union Aviation Safety Agency issued the same AD on July 22 with the same effective date. The revised maintenance actions depend on each aircraft’s configuration and any modifications.

IndiGo Signs LHT MRO Deals

IndiGo has signed several long-term MRO agreements with Lufthansa Technik (LHT) covering base maintenance and component maintenance services for its Airbus A320 family aircraft. LHT will provide base maintenance services from Lufthansa Technik Sofia and Lufthansa Technik Philippines, and provide component maintenance support from its Hamburg workshop.

Air Astana Selects Flydocs For Records Management

Air Astana has selected flydocs’ Digital Records Management software for its fleet of more than 60 aircraft. Flydocs says the software will integrate with Air Astana’s maintenance and engineering system, Trax. 

WSU Tech Begins $45 Million Training Center Expansion

WSU Tech has begun a $45 million expansion of its National Center for Aviation Training. The expansion will include a new facility that features classrooms, labs, a pilot training hangar and what it says are other high-tech training spaces focused on automation, manufacturing and maintenance, as well as a high school aviation maintenance technology academy. Construction will begin in August, with plans to start classes in January 2027.

FL Technics Expands CAMO Certification

FL Technics has been granted an extended Part-CAMO (continuing airworthiness management organization) certificate to manage Airbus A350 and ATR 42/72 aircraft. It now provides CAMO support to 13 aircraft types.

Precision Aviation Group Acquires First EMEA Subsidiary

Precision Aviation Group has acquired Turner Aviation, a UK-based MRO services provider focused on avionics, components and fuel systems. It will become Precision Aviation Group’s first facility in the EMEA region, which the company says is part of its broader global growth strategy.

Nayak Aircraft Services has acquired Altitude Paint Services, an aviation paint services provider based at Munster Osnabruck Airport in Germany. The company also opened a new aircraft painting facility at Paderborn Lippstadt Airport in Germany.

GMF AeroAsia Completes First UK Check

GMF AeroAsia has completed a C check for UK-based cargo carrier One Air, which it says is the first aircraft released under its UK Civil Aviation Authority certification. The check included four-engine pylon and thrust reverser checks, and upper deck structural and systems inspections.

Philippines-based Metrojet Engineering Clark has been awarded a maintenance approval certificate by the Bailiwick of Guernsey’s Director of Civil Aviation.

Magnetic Line Inks Oman Air Agreement

Oman Air has signed a line maintenance deal with Magnetic Line for its Boeing 787-9 aircraft powered by General Electric GEnx engines. Magnetic Line will provide technical handling to the carrier four times weekly from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol.

The Civil Aviation Administration of China has validated Elbe Flugzeugwerke’s (EFW) supplemental type certificate for its Airbus A320 and A321 passenger-to-freighter conversion (P2F) programs, paving the way for the company to offer the conversions to Chinese-registered aircraft.

Aeromexico Progresses E190 Wi-Fi Installations

Aeromexico is installing Viasat Amara Ka-band Wi-Fi on its fleet of 34 Embraer E190s. Six aircraft have been equipped so far, with the 28 installations ongoing. The airline says Wi-Fi will be available on all of its E190s by 2027.

GA Telesis Engine Services’ (GATES) special procedures aero-engine hospital (SPAH) in Wilmington, Ohio, has inducted its first CFM International Leap engine for quick turn maintenance services. The company says the new capabilities were added in response to customer demand, and it plans to ramp up investment in new engine quick-turn technologies.

Flitetec Signs Distribution Deals

Aircraft interior products specialist Flitetec has signed a distribution agreement with Sliding Systems, a provider of telescopic slides and linear motion products. It has also become an authorized distributor of Ancra International products across the UK and Europe.

HelloJets Gets 737NG Maintenance Approval

ACMI operator HelloJets has received certification from the European Union Aviation Safety Agency to perform base maintenance on Boeing 737NGs from its facility in Bucharest, Romania.

Air Canada, Lufthansa Technik Sign Exclusive Maintenance Deal

Air Canada has signed an agreement with Lufthansa Technik covering CFM International CFM56-5B engine maintenance services and component support for its Boeing 777 and 737 MAX fleets. The CFM56 agreement renews the companies’ previous cooperation until 2032, covering approximately 80 planned maintenance checks during the period. The Total Component Support contract has been extended until 2032 for 777s and 2033 for 737 MAXs.

BeauTech Acquires More CF34 Engines

BeauTech Power Systems has acquired 12 General Electric CF34-10E engines from Australian operator Alliance Aviation Services. The company says it is continuing to grow its CF34-10 engine pool to support Embraer E-Jet operators.

AerFin Acquires A320neos

AerFin has acquired four Airbus A320neos from Aviation Capital Group in partnership with an undisclosed Middle Eastern investor. Parts from the dismantled aircraft will be used to expand AerFin’s used serviceable material inventory.

Akasa Air Taps GMR Aero Technic For 737 MAX Support

Indian low-cost carrier Akasa Air has signed a three-year agreement with GMR Aero Technic covering base maintenance and support for its Boeing 737 MAX fleet. GMR Aero Technic will perform scheduled base maintenance checks for the airline’s fleet at its Hyderabad MRO facility.

EASA Certification for Dallas MRO

QT Aerospace received an EASA Part 145 repair station certification, which allows it to maintain EASA-registered aircraft. It specializes in composite repairs for narrowbody and regional aircraft.

Air Transat Signs Up For Aviatar

Canadian carrier Air Transat has signed an agreement with Lufthansa Technik to implement its Aviatar digital platform for data and analytics on its fleet of 43 Airbus A321 and A330 aircraft. It plans to use a variety of Aviatar applications, including Condition Monitoring, Predictive Health Analytics, Technical Logbook, Engineering Analytics and the Reliability Suite. Air Transat already uses Swiss-AS AMOS and flydocs software, which were both recently incorporated into Aviatar.

FL Technics Becomes Authorized Collins Aerospace Dealer

FL Technics has been appointed as an authorized dealer for a range of Collins Aerospace products and services, including avionics, integrated communication, navigation, cabin connectivity and passenger experience products, as well as certified aftermarket support and services.

StandardAero’s service center in Van Nuys, California, has received certification from Mexico’s Agencia Federal de Aviacion Civil, enabling it to perform airframe MRO on certain large-cabin aircraft registered in Mexico and line maintenance support for Rolls-Royce Spey and Tay engines, Pratt & Whitney Canada PW306 engines and Honeywell GTCP36-100 and -150 auxiliary power units.

Setna iO Closes On New UK Headquarters

Setna iO has purchased a new 125,000 ft.² facility that will serve as its headquarters for Setnix UK. The company says the facility will significantly increase its capacity for wheels, brakes and avionics.

Polish MRO and training specialist ALL4JETS has expanded its European Union Aviation Safety Agency Part 145 approval to include non-destructive testing (NDT) services, including eddy current, ultrasonic, penetrant and magnetic particle inspections. It can now provide on-site and remote inspections at its facility in Bydgoszcz, Poland, or at customer locations.

Nairobi, Kenya-based cargo carrier Advantage Air has purchased two De Havilland Canada package freighter conversion kits for Dash 8-400 aircraft. The kits are scheduled for delivery in late 2025.

Avian Inventory Management Lands Australian Parts Deal

Embraer parts distribution specialist Avian Inventory Management has purchased Alliance Airlines’ E190 parts inventory and established a Brisbane distribution center to support the Australian carrier’s component supply needs. Avian says the location will also supply other Embraer operators in the Australasia region.
