According to the Aviation Week Commercial Fleet & MRO Forecast, more than 8,100 commercial engines will be delivered over the 10-year 2025-34 period to customers based in Western Europe. CFM International accounts for more than half of all deliveries during the period, while Pratt & Whitney is featured in second place, with a share of 16%.
Driven by the expected growth in the global single aisle fleet, the LEAP and PW1000G will see the highest volume of deliveries, representing over three quarter of all shipments. In the widebody sector, the expansion of the A350 and 777X fleets will drive deliveries of more than 760 Trent XWB engines and nearly 200 GE9X powerplants.
