The Bell 222 was the basis of Airwolf helicopter. It was a fictional armored, stealth helicopter in a weekly TV show. It could perform high-g maneuvers and fly at supersonic speeds.

"My rc Airwolf helicopter from XHeli is a smooth flier. On its first flight the rc Airwolf helicopter spooled up easily and just lifted off. This was my first experience flying an electric powered rc helicopter. I appreciated the turbine engine sound, and there wasn't the usual smoke. I flew the rc Airwolf heliicopter until the motor slowed down as the battery energy was used. After landing I checked all the electronics and found them only a little warm. The rc Airwolf helicopter looks great on the ground and when flying. I am still getting used to the transition from engine to motor power, however performance is great! Since the rc Airwolf helicopter is a coaxial helicopter with no tail rotor, rudder response is different than with my other helicopters. However, the coaxial rotors are great at keeping the helicopter tracking on line. Transitioning from forward flight to hover and back again is just like the full scale helicopter. Getting the XHeli rc Airwolf helicopter has made an electric power believer out of me. It is much easier to prepare it for flight. And the flight characteristics and sound of the rc Airwolf Helicopter can't be beat. Furthermore, I no longer have to worry about the engine suddenly quitting. Anyone looking to transition from gas to electric power should try the XHeli rc Airwolf helicopter."

Walkera rc Airwolf helicopter.

The rc Airwolf helicopter from Walkera. The ready to fly rc Airwolf helicopter has a length of 16 1/2", a rotor diameter of 16", and is powered by two 180 PH motors. Also included are a radio, motor controller, batteries, and chargers.

Airwolf was equipped with "turbo-boost," and had a sound like the howl of a wolf. At hover the rotor blades made a ghostly whine.

Chengdu Yuxiang, China produces a rc Airwolf helicopter fuselage that fits 450 mechanics."

Joe Marques writes: "Syma has a rc Aiwolf helicopter that comes ready to fly. Its length is 7" and it has 5" coaxial rotors. Bargain Bloodhound Toys has a rc Airwolf helicopter. It has two motors and is 15 3/4" long, 5 1/2" wide and 6 1/2" high. RS Hobbies has a laser equipped rc Airwolf helicopter. If one is "hit" by the laser, its motor will stop."

Sergio Vergara informs us: "Ikarus has a foamy fuselage for the rc Airwolf helicopter that is 20" in length. Feida Toys Firm, China, has a mini rc Airwolf helicopter. Cheong-Un Model Company Limited, China has a rc Airwolf helicopter under the name SD Model."

Joe Johnson wrote to say that, "Million Power Group, Ltd., Hong Kong is selling a rc Airwolf helicopter 450 size fuselage. Chigift Electronic Co., Limited, China, has a rc Airwolf helicopter under the name Syma. Feida Toys Firm, China, has a rc Airwolf helicopter that uses infrared control. Shantou City Chenghai District Sam Toys Import & Export Industrial Co., Ltd., China, has a rc Airwolf that operates on three channels."

Cooler Stuff Toys, China, makes a rc Airwolf helicopter with an included battery. Chuangjia Toys, China has a rc Airwolf helicopter that is 6" long, has a width of 2 1/2" and a height of 2 1/2". Hangzhou Ruitian Import and Export Co., Ltd., China has a rc Airwolf helicopter that is 12" long with a 10" main rotor.

GHD Crafts & Toys Factory, China, is selling their rc Airwolf helicopter that is 8" long and has 3 channel control. Shande Electric Factory, China, has a three channel rc Airwolf helicopter. Shenzhen Heli Chuangsheng Trading Dept., China wants to sell you their rc Airwolf helicopter. It has three channel control and is 7" long.

AZ Trading and Import, USA, has a rc Airwolf helicopter imported from China. It uses three channels and is sold under the Syma brand name. Pengbu Toy Factory, China, also makes a rc Airwolf helicopter packaged as a Syma S107. It is 12" long, 3" wide, a 6" high.

Raiden Technology, Inc., USA has a rc Airwolf helicopter. The box says X-Heli. It is 12 1/2" long, has a 10" rotor, and uses three channels. Shenzhen E-Do Model Co., Ltd., China, is selling their rc Airwolf helicopter glass fiber 450 size canopy. Jinchuo Import & Export Ltd., China, has a rc Airwolf helicopter. No specifications are given, but the box reads: ABC-INTEL.NET.
