The Eurofighter Typhoon is the European "Top Gun" fighter of the twenty first century.
Pilots report the Eurofighter Typhoon aircraft as "exhilarating to fly" with high maneuverability. The twin EJ200 turbofan engines combine light weight, high thrust and low fuel consumption.
Eurofighter Typhoon aircraft are slated for distribution throughout Europe and in Saudi Arabia. Among the aircraft it will replace are the F-4 Phantom, Jaguar and Tornado.
Eurofighter Typhoon aircraft have been deployed since 2004.
The Eurofighter Typhoon features a HUD (Head Up Display), terrain following radar and navigation, all weather attack ability, Single Display Processor graphic outputs (SDP), Multi-function Head Down Display (MHDD), Forward Looking Infrared Radar (FLIR),
Moving Map Display (MMD), GPS Inertial Navigation, Direct Voice Input (DVI) module for control of non critical systems, Hands On Throttle And Stick (HOTAS) for multiple functions without the pilots hands leaving the throttle.
The Eurofighter Typhoon also has Fly By Wire (FBW) Flight Control System (FCS) with quadruple redundancy, auto approach, auto attack, auto throttle,
auto-track, auto-way point, and All Systems Central Processing (ASCPU).

RC Airplane from SAPAC America.
Radio Control Airplanes:
-------------------------------------------------------------------
The picture immediately above is of the RC Eurofighter Typhoon airplane from SAPAC America. The ARF radio control airplane has a wing span of 37 1/2" and a length of 39 1/2". A 4000 KV motor driving a 65 mm fan comes with the all foam rc Eurofighter Typhoon airplane.
Parkjets has two plans for the RC Eurofighter Typhoon airplane. Not shown is their 24" wing span Eurofighter Typhoon radio control airplane. Typical propulsion for the RC Eurofighter Typhoon airplane can be a Himax 2015-4100 geared motor with a pusher prop.
The Parkjets plans for the 30" wingspan RC Eurofighter Typhoon airplane produced the radio control airplane in the first picture below. Length of the Eurofighter Typhoon RC Airplane is 42" with a weight around 20 oz. The pusher prop on this radio control airplane is spun by a Hacker A20-20L motor.
The second picture below is a sweet looking Grumania Jet Model RC Eurofighter Typhoon airplane. The Eurofighter Typhoon radio control airplane has a wing span of 48" and a length of 62". Weight of the Eurofighter Typhoon rc airplane is around 15 lbs. Grumania says that you can use any turbine with more than 11 lbs. thrust to power their radio control airplane.
The final picture on the page is of the nice RC Eurofighter Typhoon airplane by Aero Dreamworks of RC Groups. Wingspan of the Eurofighter Typhoon radio control airplane is 26" and length is 34.5 inches. Power for the pusher prop rc airplane is provided by a C28-30 motor.
Please email us if you have built a Eurofighter Typhoon radio control airplane or if you would like to recommend plans, a kit or a ARF RC Eurofighter Typhoon airplane.
George Garr of Las Vegas, NV writes:
"I built the 30" parkflyer Eurofighter Typhoon radio control airplane from the Parkjets plans. The Eurofighter Typhoon flies easily, and has a very light wing loading. The ailerons are effective and the elevator is not overly sensitive. The Eurofighter Typhoon rc airplane does all the aerobatics, but what it does best is fly very slowly with a nose high attitude."
