The response to control input is very precise, yet easy to handle. You can fly the Boeing AH-64 Apache in a large room, but don't have to be afraid to take it outside if there is a breeze blowing. The Boeing AH-64 Apache can handle it just fine. If you have never flown a coaxial rotor before, you are in for a treat. You will find it very easy to hover and with great directional control. Direction is controlled by main rotor speed rather than a tail rotor.
The Boeing AH-64 Apache has been the main attack helicopter of the U.S. Army for some twenty years. Missions include anti-tank and troop support, in all weather conditions, day and night.
The Boeing AH-64 Apache by XHeli for 4 channel
operation has a length of 18" a height of 8", with 13" co-axial rotors. The rotors are driven by two 180 type motors. This ready to fly helicopter also includes a speed controller, radio, battery and charger.
The Boeing AH-64 Apache from X-Heli is capable of the full range of aerobatic maneuvers with long flight times. It can easily hover due to its counter rotating main rotors, eliminating the need for a tail rotor. The motors provide smooth, yet powerful control.
The Boeing AH-64 Apache is a great value for the money. There are some cheaper rc helicopters out there, but their performance is disappointing. It can take hard landings while learning to fly and keeps coming back for more. For someone who wants to start out the right way the X-Heli Boeing AH-64 Apache is the best way to go.
Although the main weapons of the Boeing AH-64 Apache are its missiles, the helicopter is also equipped with a rapid fire 33 mm chain gun.

Tom Loosen emailed us this review of the GT Model Boeing AH-64 Apache:
"The Boeing AH-64 Apache from GT Model is among the best and worth every penny. It is easy to fly, yet I am capable of doing more aerobatics than lots of other helicopters that I see at the field.
While learning to fly, I banged it around a bit, yet it just shrugged off the hits. My Boeing AH-64 Apache came with spare main rotors, and they came in handy after I ran into a tree.
The Boeing AH-64 Apache provides some pretty long flight times, but those can be extended even further with higher capacity batteries."
